The Saville Foundation (TSF), a private philanthropic Foundation, have supported the Future Farmers International Programme for many years. PARTNERS
National Skills Fund
The National Skills Fund (NSF) is a public entity established by the government in 1999 and reports to the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation. Future Farmers is running a skills development programme (Work Integrated Learning) with funding awarded by the NSF for a 24-month programme. The programme runs from June 2024 to the end of August 2026.
AgriSETA
AgriSETA creates and promotes opportunities for social, economic and employment growth for agri-enterprises through relevant, quality and accessible education, training and development in both primary and secondary agriculture, in conjunction with other stakeholders in agriculture. AgriSETA awarded funding to Future Farmers, in partnership with Kwanalu, for six generations of Work Integrated Learning, the last of which was completed in October 2023. Certain funds were not utilised in this period and have rolled over to 2024. The programmes will be officially complete in 2025
The World Poultry Foundation

The World Poultry Foundation aims to be a catalyst for improving lives globally through the sustainable production of poultry by empowering farmers in developing regions. The World Poultry Foundation supported the Future Farmers International Programme, and their generous donation is still in circulation with our rolling funding model, and will continue to change the lives of young South African poultry farmers for many years to come.
Kwanalu
Kwanalu’s strategic focus is to provide leadership on all key agricultural issues to commercial farmers of all sizes and related agricultural organisations in KZN. Kwanalu partnered with Future Farmers as our fiduciary governance affiliate in the Work Integrated Learning programmes funded through AgriSETA grants.

Landbou
Landbouweekblad is South Africa’s biggest and most influential magazine for the agricultural sector. Landbou as an institution is important, as they act as a central hub for information on South Africa’s farming industries, and they encourage and facilitate debate and progression around South Africa’s agricultural status, current issues and successes. Landbou have supported Future Farmers over many years with inclusion at Landbou conferences and featuring Future Farmers’ work as a leading example of agricultural talent development in South Africa, as well as being key in addressing youth unemployment in the farming sector.
