Njabulo had to leave his community of high crime at 16 years old, to study at Zakhe Agricultural College. He became a Future Farmer Member and at 19 years old he was introduced to his first farm owner and farm. He said he had never seen one before that day. He said he was in an environment where he didn’t know anything and was clueless. After working there, he said he even questioned if this is what he wanted to do with his life. After a few years of hard work, dedication and not giving up, Future Farmers Foundation helped Njabulo source and pay for an Internship in California where he further increased in knowledge and growth. Today he is a very successful Manager of a well-established dairy in Ixopo who supplies Clover with its milk. He is a very happy man doing what he loves, while giving back to SA what he learned overseas.
Help other people just like Njabulo to receive a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn abroad and plough the overseas knowledge back into SA and help our country reap the rewards of emerging passionate and skilled farmers who are also dedicated to seeing the people on the farm succeed.
